Greenworks Tools Canada sells cordless outdoor power equipment, lawn and garden tools, and selected corded products. Its range includes lawn mowers, string trimmers, leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws, snow throwers, snow shovels, pressure washers, cordless power tools, batteries, chargers and accessories. Product availability varies.

2. Which Greenworks battery platform should I choose?

The right platform depends on the tools you need, the size of your property and the work you plan to do. Compare the available 24V, 40V, 48V (24V × 2), 60V and 80V options, considering battery capacity, runtime and the equipment available for each platform. Check individual product specifications before deciding.

3. Are Greenworks batteries interchangeable between tools?

Greenworks batteries are generally interchangeable among compatible tools within the same voltage platform, but batteries from different voltage families are not generally interchangeable. Selected 48V (24V × 2) products use two compatible 24V batteries and have specific requirements. Check the product details or owner's manual to confirm compatibility before purchasing a battery or charger.

4. How long do Greenworks batteries last on a single charge?

Battery runtime depends on the battery's amp-hour (Ah) capacity, the tool being used, the task and working conditions. More demanding jobs may use battery power more quickly. Compare the manufacturer's runtime information and recommended battery capacity for your chosen tool. If you regularly work for extended periods, a compatible spare battery may be useful.

5. Does Greenworks Tools Canada sell snow removal equipment?

Yes. The product range includes selected snow shovels and snow throwers for winter maintenance. Compare models based on the area you need to clear, typical snowfall and the surface you're working on. Check the product specifications to confirm battery and charger requirements before ordering.

6. What is the warranty on Greenworks Tools Canada products?

Greenworks lists a four-year limited tool and battery warranty for 60V and 80V products and a three-year limited tool and battery warranty for 24V, 40V and 48V products. Corded tools have a three-year tool warranty, while corded brushless motors have a ten-year warranty. Commercial-use coverage for the listed battery platforms is 90 days. Warranty conditions, registration requirements and exclusions apply, so consult the official warranty terms for your product.

From Gas to Battery

Battery-powered outdoor equipment offers an alternative to traditional gas-powered tools, without the need for gasoline or engine oil. Greenworks' cordless range covers everyday lawn care, garden maintenance, outdoor cleaning and more demanding seasonal jobs. Depending on the model, you can find equipment for mowing grass, trimming edges, clearing leaves, cutting wood, washing outdoor surfaces and removing snow.

Choosing the right tool depends on your property, the tasks you perform and how often you use your equipment. A compact cordless lawn mower and string trimmer may be enough for a smaller yard, while a larger property may benefit from a mower with a wider cutting deck and batteries suited to longer sessions. For year-round maintenance, consider which tools you'll use regularly and whether additional batteries or seasonal equipment would be worthwhile.

Pick Your Platform Before You Pick a Coupon

Greenworks offers several battery platforms designed for different tools and workloads. Before purchasing a cordless tool, check its voltage, battery requirements and compatibility with any Greenworks equipment you already own.

24V POWERALL: A versatile platform for household, DIY and outdoor tasks, including cordless power tools and selected lawn and garden equipment.

48V (24V × 2): Selected products, including lawn mowers and other outdoor equipment, use two compatible 24V batteries to deliver 48V power. Check the individual product page to confirm which batteries and charger are required or included.

40V: A cordless platform for residential lawn care and garden maintenance. Compare available tools, battery capacity and expected runtime to find the right fit for your property.

60V: A higher-voltage platform offering equipment for demanding lawn care and outdoor work. Compare available tools and battery options based on your workload and expected runtime.

80V: A platform for more demanding outdoor jobs, with equipment such as selected lawn mowers, chainsaws, leaf blowers and snow throwers. Check individual product specifications to find the right model for your needs.

Battery compatibility matters when building a collection of tools. Greenworks batteries generally work within their compatible voltage platforms rather than across different voltage families. Selected 48V (24V × 2) products have specific requirements, so always check the product details before purchasing a tool, replacement battery or charger.

Getting the Most Out of Your Greenworks Purchase

First-time buyer with no batteries yet? Start with a combo kit. Buying a tool, compatible battery and charger together may offer better value than purchasing each item separately.

Already own Greenworks batteries? Consider a tool-only model if it uses a compatible battery platform and your existing batteries meet the tool's requirements. Don't assume a 40V battery will work with a 60V or 80V tool.

Shopping for a lawn mower? Compare cutting width, battery capacity, terrain and whether you prefer a push or self-propelled mower. Runtime depends on the battery, grass conditions and how demanding the job is.

Preparing for winter? Compare Greenworks snow throwers and snow shovels based on the area you need to clear, typical snow conditions and the equipment's capabilities.

Budget-conscious? Compare combo kits, sale items and current promotions. Check whether a discounted tool includes a battery and charger or is sold on its own.

Ordering from Canada? Standard shipping is free on orders over C$75 before tax. Orders below that threshold incur a C$15 shipping fee before applicable taxes. Restrictions apply to certain destinations and products, so check delivery eligibility for your address.

Checking the warranty? Greenworks Canada lists a four-year limited tool and battery warranty for 60V and 80V products, and a three-year limited tool and battery warranty for 24V, 40V and 48V products. Corded tools have a three-year tool warranty, while corded brushless motors have a ten-year warranty. Commercial-use coverage is shorter, and applicable terms depend on the product.
