From Twelve Miles an Hour to Forty-Three
INMOTION makes electric unicycles and electric scooters. The unicycle lineup is grouped by riding style rather than by price, across Fun Glide for learning, Commuter for city use, Cruise Tour for distance, Off-Road, and Performance. The gap between the ends of that range is the thing to understand before buying: the E20 tops out around twelve miles an hour and uses a single wheel with two tires so it balances laterally while you learn, while the V14 Pro runs to roughly forty-three. The scooter range covers the RS Jet and RS Lite, the dual-motor C10, the Climber for hills, the S1F for commuting, and the Air and Air Pro. Accessories cover batteries, chargers, tires, pads, seats and protective gear.
Six Months on the Battery, Three on the Lights
The warranty is twelve months, but only on some of the machine. Frame, structural parts, motors and controllers get the full year. The battery gets six months, extended to twelve on the V14 and P6 only. Displays, throttles, brakes, shock absorbers and chargers get six months, lighting gets three, and spare parts get thirty days. Tires, brake pads, brake discs, pedals and plastic covers are consumables and are not covered at all. Two clauses matter more than the lengths. Coverage starts on the delivery date rather than the date of first use, so a wheel bought ahead of the season burns warranty sitting in a garage. And crashes, water damage, unauthorized modifications and charging with a non-approved charger all void it, which on a personal vehicle rules out a large share of what actually goes wrong.
Ride One Before You Own One
Find a dealer and ride one before ordering, because the return policy only covers a sealed box, which means the first time you step on the machine you own it, and no amount of specification reading tells you how a wheel feels underneath you.
Use the questionnaire and the comparison tool to narrow the list rather than to pick the winner, since the useful output is a shortlist of two or three, and the difference between twelve miles an hour and forty-three is a decision about yourself rather than about the hardware.
Buy the protective gear in the same order as the machine, as the accessories catalog carries helmets and pads, a crash voids the warranty regardless, and the learning period is when the falls happen.
Unbox and inspect on the delivery day and photograph anything wrong, because shipping damage has a seven-day reporting window and the delivery needs a signature anyway, so someone is already going to be there.
Charge only with the charger it came with, since charging with a non-approved unit voids the warranty outright, and a replacement charger bought elsewhere is a cheap way to lose cover on an expensive battery.
Treat the installment plans as a way to spread a decision you have already made rather than to reach a machine above your level, because four to twenty-four payments through Klarna or Afterpay makes the flagship feel affordable while the riding difficulty stays exactly where it was.
