Off-Grid Power, Panel to Battery

Renogy sells the parts of an off-grid or backup power system: solar panels, lithium and deep-cycle batteries, inverters, charge controllers, battery chargers and monitors, plus portable power stations and complete kits for RVs, vans, boats, cabins and home backup. Products can be bought individually for a DIY build or as matched kits. Most items ship free within the continental US, and larger orders may need a signature on delivery. The return rules vary by product type, with batteries on much shorter windows than panels and accessories. A few products Renogy sells come from other manufacturers and carry their own warranties.

Batteries Have Their Own Return Rules

Renogy's 30-day return window applies to most of the catalog, but not to the most expensive part of most systems. Lithium batteries and some inverters have only 7 days, noted on the product page. AGM and GEL batteries can't be returned at all, because of transportation regulations. Open-box and refurbished items can't be returned for non-quality reasons. Everything else follows the general rule: new, undamaged and unmodified, within 30 days, with a restocking fee and your own return shipping if it's a change of mind. Ask support for a return authorization before shipping anything back. Because the battery is where a sizing mistake costs most, work out your power needs before choosing one rather than after.
