Flat-Pack Furniture From a California Warehouse

SICOTAS designs and sells flat-pack furniture direct, shipping from a warehouse in southern California to the contiguous US. The range covers TV stands, bookcases, coffee and side tables, dressers and nightstands, storage cabinets, dining furniture and home office pieces, in modern farmhouse, industrial, mid-century and contemporary styles. Construction is engineered wood rather than solid timber, which is what keeps the prices where they are, and everything arrives boxed for self-assembly. Shipping is free, orders go by standard parcel carrier rather than freight, and a signature is required on delivery. Returns run 60 days at your own shipping cost, and there's a warranty of around a year covering repair or replacement.

Report Problems Inside Thirty Days

The return window here is 60 days, but the more useful number is 30. Past 30 days from delivery, SICOTAS may issue a partial refund rather than a full one, and defects reported after that point are handled under the warranty rather than as a return. SICOTAS recommends checking items within 48 hours of arrival, which is the right instinct for flat-pack furniture: damage and missing parts are far easier to resolve before assembly starts than after. Photograph the box and the contents before you build anything. If something is wrong, email with the order number, the item SKU and photos. Don't arrange your own repair first, since SICOTAS won't reimburse work done without authorization, and don't discard packaging until the claim is settled.
