The sweepstakes is the reason the purchase terms here are unusual, so it is worth reading the rules rather than the marketing. Three things stand out. No purchase is necessary to enter or to win, and buying does not improve your odds, which is stated in the opening lines of the published rules and is the opposite of what the shop's framing implies. Entry is restricted to residents of the contiguous United States, and excludes Alaska, Hawaii, Florida and New York, so a reader in one of those states can order gear but cannot win anything by doing so. And the rules explicitly describe buying items to obtain entries with the intention of returning them afterwards as fraudulent, which is almost certainly the origin of the all-sales-final policy. None of that makes the sweepstakes a problem.
