RGB Laser Projectors in Two Series

Valerion makes home cinema projectors and sits under AWOL Vision, which sells the range alongside its own. The lineup splits in two: the VisionMaster series for dedicated home theater, topped by the VisionMaster Max, and the StreamMaster series aimed at streaming and gaming. All of them use RGB triple laser light engines rather than lamps or single-laser phosphor, and all run Google TV on the projector itself. The brand launched through a Kickstarter campaign in 2024 that raised around ten million dollars, the most funded campaign on the platform that year, and has sold through AV retail since.

A Projector Is Only Half the Setup

Two things decide what a projector actually looks like in your room, and neither is the headline specification. The first is distance. These are long-throw models, so the unit sits behind the seating rather than under the screen, and the throw ratio multiplied by your screen width gives the distance it needs. Get that wrong and the image ends up the size the room allows rather than the size you paid for. The second is light. Lumens are measured in the dark, and a room with windows will wash out a bright projector on a white wall while a more modest one looks excellent on an ambient light rejecting screen. Budget for the screen alongside the projector.
